Why Does ReCleanse Recommend Organically Grown Foods?
Even when you are not cleansing, it is advisable to choose food sources that are locally and organically grown whenever possible. This will help to greatly reduce exposure to toxic pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Purchasing unsprayed, naturally fertilized, fruits and vegetables supports sustainable and non-toxic agricultural practices.

What Foods Are Not Recommended?
The most important foods to avoid as you ReCleanse are all foods that contain:

  • Preservatives, colourings, flavourings, salt, sugars (in all their forms) or other sweeteners of any kind
  • Hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fats or oils
  • Fortified or enriched ingredients
  • All flours, ground grains and pasta
  • All dairy except plain yogurt
  • Mushrooms, Peanuts
  • White Potatoes
  • Condiments
  • Alcohol

How Much Do I Need To Eat?
You will benefit most during your ReCleanse® by eating less than you are probably accustomed to. Eating too much food overloads our digestive system and places an unnecessary burden on all other systems of our body as we attempt to process the excess. Eat less food and drink more water while you ReCleanse®.

When Are The Best Times To Eat?
Eating three small meals a day while you ReCleanse® is ideal. Eat breakfast in the early morning, lunch around noon and a very light dinner in the early evening (before 7 PM). You may also eat two or three light snacks per day. Eat a snack in mid-morning and another in the mid-afternoon.
